Frequently asked questions

How are Gainbridge® rates so high?

By offering annuities directly, we eliminated the middleman, getting rid of hidden fees and commissions, putting more money back in your hands.

Is FastBreak™ a CD?

No, FastBreak™ is a non-tax deferred annuity. The main difference between FastBreak™ and a Certificate Deposit (CD) is FastBreak™ is issued by an insurance company, Gainbridge Life Insurance Company, while a CD is issued by a bank. Otherwise, a FastBreak™ annuity has fixed rates and interest taxable as earned like a CD.

How is a FastBreak™ annuity different than a CD?

FastBreak™is issued by Gainbridge Life Insurance Agency while a Certificated of Deposit (CD) is issued by a bank.

Can I withdraw my money before the end of my term?

In the first year, you can withdraw up to 10% of your initial premium or RMD. Starting in the second year, you can withdraw up to 10% of the contract anniversary’s contract value. These are the maximum amounts you can withdraw without incurring a surrender charge or market value adjustment in a given contract year. However, if you are under age 59 ½ an IRS tax penalty won't apply to any withdrawal amount.
